Whew - October , where did you run off to ?
Here we are at the end of October. It has been a incredibly busy month. Work has been VERY busy with regular and unexpected projects. Personally, we are in the planning phase for rebranding and relaunching our food blog (table with a view blog). At the same time , it is the last days of trip prep before we head on our 2015 vacation (this has been a long time coming and I cannot wait to unplug a little bit and experience some new places). That said, here is what we have been up to in October.
Part of Portland | Grace spent some time in Orlando and Miami earlier this month and it was incredible. I cannot wait to head back for more than just a weekend. Yes ! you will be reading all about it here soon, but here is one of my favorite snapshots from the trip to tide you over...
We are putting the finishing touches on the bedroom makeover and really striving to finish it before we head on vacation. Loving how it is turning out and I cannot wait to reveal the details here. Here is a sneaky peek
What I have been watching. Madam secretary - I binged watched season 1 in two nights, it is so good. Trying to catch up on Season 2 before I take my technology free vacation. The Blacklist is back and James Spader is all kinds of awesome.
The song I cannot stop listening to. Good, Good Father - I love the HouseFires version. Just an incredible song that captures in the simplest most powerful way the character and nature of God.
I was in Houston two week ago to visit friends. while I was there, I stopped by Crave cupcakes and oooh la la - so incredible. If you are in Houston, stop by and get the red velvet cupcake and a cupcake latte - you will thank me.
The Texas state fair was earlier this month and of course I was there - stuffed my face with everything unhealthy and it was fantastic - here are some snapshots from the day.
